Do you enjoy the character Luther? Then may I recommend Luther: Fallen Sun, a movie about Luther starring Luther doing Luther things. What sets it apart is that, gosh darn, both the actor and the character are super cool. Don’t like Luther? Not the movie for you, I dare say.

Do you enjoy 1958 SF with a surprisingly solid story even though the movie itself was made by people who’ve never seen a rocket? Then may I recommend IT The Terror Beyond Space. Low budget, not-great production, but obvious how it was an inspiration behind Alien. Worth a watch.

Interesting article in the April issue of Scientific American. It covers not only why it’s hated nearly universally but what proper alternatives could be and, importantly, why and how to go about it. A recommended read, especially if, like me, you’re forced to WFO 3 days/week.

Isn't it the fact that being with a serious working person for a long time in a large open space is unbearably tedious. You can't even scratch where you want because there is no privacy. It's uncomfortable and stressful. People spend a lot of effort to disguise themselves.

Tiny proud moment in #WoW. See this dead guy? He was 💯 kicking sand in my face a couple months ago. I wasn’t playing this new class correctly. So tonight I took a step back, re-configured, re-learned, and re-retrained. Killed him! I’m learning the Evoker Way right and proper.

Spent three hours with three cats snoozing—one of them—the largest of course—in my arms. 😅

Season finale—I could have sworn it was only 15 minutes long.

I can’t remember a more emotionally tense episode of anything on television. There was one line that made me cry, an entire episode that had my heart on the edge.

Amazing. An exemplar.

There is a season 2 coming.

A very high-quality series. If I could cry, I would cry over every episode. This is an incredible showrunner game. I can't remember anything like that

Do you enjoy thunderously boring survival movies? Then may I recommend Breath (2022). Surprisingly poor set design/construction and lighting is only half the problem. The other half is that this movie centers on one character who reflects on her life…her unremarkable life.
