Do you enjoy well-done found footage films? Then may I recommend The Last Broadcast, which is the first to be entirely shot/edited only on consumer-level digital gear (1998). It’s actually a good movie. Creepy af. And that ending. Man.

Do you enjoy watching the worst sequel ever put to film? Then may I recommend The Blair Witch Witch Project 2: Book of Shadows, which is not just an awful film in every regard, it’s also a terrible, nonsensical sequel. It has plusses though: it’s a talkie and in color.

Do you enjoy films written by a _dozen_ people, is filmed in Xhosa (with subtitles), and is so glacially slow you’ll wonder whether time even exists? Then may I recommend Good Madam, a film that, alas, doesn’t have a payoff for the pace. Maybe a few more writers would’ve helped.

Do you enjoy movies in which computers save the day? Then may I recommend 1978’s The Manitou, a movie that will make you blurt an incredulous “What?” out loud more than once. The plot, the mythology, the how-did-*this*-film-pull-these-actors of it all is, well, something else.

I forgot to log on to #Warcraft over the weekend and realized this morning that Noblegarden ends at noon—and I still didn’t have my egg basket toy for my dragons!

Do you enjoy spirit photography movies? Then may I mildly recommend Shutter. It’s not really scary and there’s a mild thriller vibe, but there’s an unexpected development that was interesting.

Also, how vintage is it that most of the photography is on film. 😄

Do you enjoy forgettable horror films about haunted cell phones? Then may I recommend One Missed Call. Anyway, this was made in 2008 so features flip phones throughout. That whole era seems so brief. There were landlines, then flips for like a year, now everything is smart 4evr.
