Do you enjoy small horror films that spend heavy on soundtrack and cinematography? Then may I recommend From Black, a horror that has some good direction, but the script was just a bit lacking here and there. I do want to know more about the monster though. 🔍

@headshot No, never! All our cats have been 💯 indoor-only for ages and ages. Much prefer a living cat! 🥰

@ABASHIMA I understand your concerns. However, what could be more touching than a cat on a leash) But that's my idea. I understand that all animals need to have at least vaccinations and a safe place to walk, in the case of cats there is also a very high fence. These ninjas will fit everywhere.

Tonight, on an all-new #DnD, we’re going to play a single low-level adventure just to learn how to use Foundry better.

Do you enjoy well-crafted horror that’s actually scary? Then may I recommend Smile, a movie absolutely dependent on the lead’s performance and she’s amazing at it, and supported by a clever monster, great/creepy/subtle direction, and a story no more complex than necessary.

I’m always looking at abstract/experimental horror films but liking one is super rare (Mandy, Mad God). I want to watch Enys Men, especially since it’s in 16mm and I want to see what modern sinsibilities + antique tools yields. 🤔

I guess I need a gimmick to woo me to that genre.

Do you enjoy murder mysteries set in Scandinavia that meander to such a degree that it requires an undo amount of energy to understand the script? Then may I recommend The Snowman, a film that does, however, show Michael Fassbender in his underwear, so there’s that.

I thought it was ok, but assumed there was a bunch left on the cutting room floor that tied it together better.

Do you enjoy movies where you’re kept guessing whether the main character is insane, hallucinating, sane, being gaslit, or all four at the same time? Then may I recommend The Retreat. It’s a low-budget monster movie—or is it?!

Do you enjoy excessively mild supernatural romantic horror based on Jewish mysticism? Then may I recommend Attachment, a movie that defines mild in every aspect of filmmaking. It’s not scary, and neither thrilling or titillating, but still somehow engaging in a, well, mild way.

Do you enjoy completely delightful action romances with charm and great fight sequences? Then may I recommend Ghosted, a film that has a nice premise, great cast, the right tone, big action scenes, and neat cameos all working together for a fabulous time.
