Do you enjoy creepy Korean horror that will keep you on edge and frighten not from cat scares but from the surprising horror of it? Then may I recommend The Mimic (2017) which pushed the right buttons to get harsh language out of me twice.

I guess by now I shouldn’t be, but I’m still surprised by how many strangers initiate talking to me while I’m wearing this shirt. 😅

This is how people work. They see a social advertisement "Say no to drugs" and they think, "Why not try what I need to refuse first?"

Do you enjoy movies that show how a good script can elevate a film past its low budget? Then may I recommend Cryptid (2022), which has a lot of dialogue to make up for not much monster—which is fine, as it puts way more focus on characters than most horror movies usually do.

Do you enjoy Japanese haunted house movies that are on par with American remakes? Then may I recommend Dark Water (2002) which was random movie 12 and convenient since I’ve seen the remake but not this one. It’s creepy, but no genuine scares, and tense because of the situation.

Do you enjoy movies that are tiresome bores? Then may I recommend Them (2021), which is both tiresome and a bore. Random movie 12 was a bust!

Do you enjoy thrillers that aren’t? Then may I recommend The Circle, random movie 11, which creates ridiculous situations for the backbone of the movie then lets them evaporate off camera, leaving a flopping goof—just what everyone looks for in a thriller, I guess they thought.

Do you enjoy movies with an unsympathetic main character that gets better until it ultimately becomes good? Then may I recommend The Flash, which is a monolith of fan service that gets better as it goes. Worst computer work of any modern superhero movie tho—rep deserved.

Through a strange string of events, my additional wife and I and our D&D DM saw The Empire Strips Back burlesque show.

It was *amazing*! Extraordinary show! Surprising, wonderful, and such a marvelous treat. Fantastic production!

We had *so much* fun it was crazy!

Highest recommendation!

If it comes to your city YOU MUST SEE! It’s SO great! 😃
