Do you enjoy perfectly average medium-budget sci-fi sequels that don’t so much make errors in execution but don’t have much to execute in the first place? Then may I recommend Skylines, which unknown at the time to us is third in a series—but it has a generous recap at the beginning, so we were up to speed. (At the time, we did think gosh this is a lot of production value for mere introductory exposition.) 😄
Competent fight choreography. Attention to SFX. Good movie to have on in the background.
Stay after the credits for, of all things, the blooper reel.
