Do you enjoy exemplary horror of true high quality? Then may I recommend The First Omen, which is beautifully directed, wonderfully acted by the lead, horrific in story, depiction, and visuals, and focused in its brutality. Soundtrack was amazing—perfect, even. You may have heard of “that scene” and, yes, worth the hype. Better than The Omen? Yes. Contender for best horror of 2024. We’ll see what the rest of the year brings to fight it.
