i recently had my 19th birthday. Didn't do much. My friend treated me to Hookah for the first time and I had dinner at home. Nothing to bring to much attention to me. Whew!~

I am still single....sooooo uuuh....yeah. I wash my bedding often. hahahahahahahah

I'm conflicted about college right now so I decided not to return this semester.

Hope you come back!

I second what Infinity said. Don't ever have a bad semester. If you're not feeling it, you're gonna have a bad semester and that will set you back.

You might want to take a single class at a community college though just to get credits out of the way. Especially if you're not working full-time.

Can't complain about how things are going - everything now is more or less back to normal after last week's hurricane and related adventures.

It would seem I have neglected my blogging duties (DId I have "duties"?) but there is a perfectly good explanation for that. My computer broke in the middle of July. Sorry

- Still working at The Elegant Farmer.

- bought a car

- registered it. I now OWN it.

- met a girl and went...

Thanks for updating. You are such a fun read. smile

Congratulations on the car and on starting college! It's nice to have your own car but not so nice to have to pay for insurance, DMV fees, and the like.

Chappelle's show is really awesome and funny.

Psycho girlfriend does not sound good but she is gone now and hopefully not going to bother you again.

I just had a pretty fun and pleasant phone conversation with my girlfriend (not sarcastic) and we decided to break it. She is leaving to be an exchange student in France for the whole year and is leaving Aug.16th so it's for the best. As much as we'd love it to work, it just won't. That sucks cause we're really good for each other.

fuck...

Okay, so, a lot of cool shit has happened since my last post so I think I'll give you the highlights.

-I got the job at The Elegant Farmer in the Deli. It's been good. $8.00 an hour, 65 cents more than my last job and $8.50 on the weekends.

-I got a new phone finally

So this morning I interviewed at The Elegant Farmer. It's a farmer's market/bakery/deli. Really cool place I go there a lot, and I think it went really well. and it's my second time inquiring about a position there (first time interviewing) so we can only hope for the best. They said they'll get back to me at the end of the week. I'll call them...

Hope one or better yet, both of those two jobs work out for you. You should also get some money from the graduation party too. I remember that I got a decent amount from the relatives who went to mine.
aaronjordon:
yeah. that's what I'm hoping for

me: mom, tell everyone to just get me money for my car fund.
mom: yeah, yeah, yeah. I know

I'M NO LONGER A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT!!! I don't know how to feel, maybe it hasn't hit me yet. This is weird and fucking rad, man! It was crazy and the last two year went by fast and I managed to stay out of any real drama because I'm not fucking stupid, so that's a plus. graduation day on June 10th

I also have a...

Kay sent me here to say congratulations.biggrinwinkmiao!!

Good luck with the job interview.
aepaul:
A few tips - know a bit about the place you'll be working. Make eye contact. Be positive. People generally don't want to work with negative people because negative people tend to do less good work.

Also, this one's important - think of several things you've accomplished and use them as examples of why you're good at what you do. It could be anything. In one interview, I told the guy I was interviewing with that I climbed a mountain (yes, in real life). He asked why and I said because I wanted to accomplish that in my lifetime. I got the job. And it had nothing to do with anything physical. It was mostly a help desk job (although paid pretty well for what it was).

It's because people want people who set goals and achieve them. Goal setting is one of the keys to success. It's not just work though. It's life in general.

Good luck!
