Laying back tonight getting ready to go to sleep and another of my old writings keeps running through my mind so I guess I'll share it and hopefully putting it here will take it off my mind for the moment.
Tears of blood run down my face,
Death encircles with a warm embrace,
Wings of darkness gather round,
A sense of longing so profound,
These tears I cry are not for me,
But the world around that dies with glee.
