I can go through a laundry list of people in the Republican party that again and again want to excuse this behavior because they share a political party with these predators. Donald and Brett are monsters and if any member of my party did what they have done I would be at the front of the line for removing them from their position. They could not return until they admitted what they did, received the mental healthcare they need and made every attempt to help their victims recover. Rape is not in the platform of my political party. Aiding rapists is not in the platform of my political party. If you are in a party that does support rape or supports those that have committed rape then unfollow me and get professional help.

One of my early true loves was assaulted before I met her. She sadly was not the last or only victim of sexual assault to come into my life. With any victim of assault intimacy could at any point go from something beautiful to terror, rage or total emotional shutdown. I learned to always pay attention to my partner and stop anything sexual immediately. After stopping I make every attempt to be there for them in any way they needed me. I realize that people don't have to die to lose their life.

I am asking anyone that is still with me to help me stop abuse of people. If you see a crime in progress, report it. If you are with someone that has done this to you or someone else, leave them. Help is available for you. You don't deserve to be abused. If this ever happens to you them please seek recovery assistance immediately. It is not your fault. You did not bring this on yourself. You are not worthless because of what happened to you. Good people want to help you but they can't help if you don't tell them. Please don't feel ashamed and as a result remain silent. You don't have to suffer alone in silence.
