Thanks to all the folks that've wished my friends well. At first, Tara's head injuries appeared to've caused some amnesia, but that's already pretty much restored itself, so it seems as if they're both making great progress.

Okay, so I found out yesterday that one of my best friends is in hospital following a car crash. She's got a broken leg and head and chest injuries (fortunately not life threatening) and her gf has two broken legs and some minor internal injuries (also not life threatening)
