On saturday, Emily and I went to the 18th birthday party of the daughter of her parent's friends. She'd told everyone that she wanted people to dress up really smartly, so we all did. However, when we got there, it turned out that her chav mates couldn't be bothered to dress up, and just wore their usual chav-wear of jeans and sportswear. It was pretty annoying that we'd all made the effort to dress up and so many of her 'friends' couldn't be bothered, (which reminded me of the Halloween party I went to with Nic and Traumatron two years ago, where a similar thing happened) but all in all, it was quite a nice party (more like a wedding reception than a birthday party ) but nice, none the less.
