I believe it was ginseng. Some had 3 leaves and some had 5. It may have been too dry here for the plants to produce berries.

as for NYE in NYC. i dont know what the good party is going to be yet. i usually try to avoid huge parties. although last year i had a blast at limelight. (ugh, i know). my boyfriend was djing with a great line up. ltj bukem and a bunch of other mixed sounds. there's a SGNYC party in the works which might be nice for a bit, but SO VERY NOT HOUSE. i'll let you in on my inside scoops when i know them.. which is like a week before usually. hehe
if together in spirit is that party in brooklyn on sunday afternoon/night i've never been. and i'm sort of morally against it right now. for a start up party that's trying to catch on to the B&S vibe, i find it completely OUTRAGEOUS that they start the party with a $15 cover. thats bullshit. sure, when B&S closed down thats what they were up to for cover.. but that was YEARS in the making. built up from $8!! there is no need for that kind of cover when you're just having local yocals dj on rotation. no fucking way.
i rant. must stop.

anyway, I was tlakign to filmy people at the fest in arizaona, and someone was talking about IFP and tellign tehse kids who live in LA now about it and what they can do for them and whatever, so I told them I knew you there and gave them your number. word. They're flakes, so I don't know if they'll call, but they were psyched to hear about it, so we'll see.
-totally miffed that I didn't gt to hang with the crew on halloween party weekend and all, but it was not to be I suppose. I hear it was fun. rock on.
