tonight's episode of my 35mm life was directed by Michael Mann. lingering shots of water drops glistening on martini glasses. color saturating the room like syrup running down the side of the bottle. beautiful people whisping by in bursts of distant laughter. a little bit shakey. a little bit too aware.
but i was too tired to be out. not smart of me. but today was my girls birthday and i needed to show the love. sumz had a good night and that is what matters. the club was wik-wik-wack. lame in fact. really bad radio hip-hop. and a full on 818/Bridge and Tunnel crowd. Bling Bling yo.
i spent the first fifteen minutes walking around all this club that is straight out of a music video with a pan of fresh cupcakes. if you saw someone with cupcakes looking around for his party would you a.) knock into him anyway b.) ask him for one c.) grab them or d.) all of the above. thanks badmojo for coming out. sorry i was such a space cadet most of the evening. not a good environment to chill. im sorry about the choice of spots... next time you pick...
