Last night I went to the launch of a magazine that Gene Simmons from KISS is starting called 'Tounge.' The zine is..well...oh it just sux. no dancing around it. Anyways it was at this cheeeezball club and Hugh Heffner and all his nas-tz were there. It was such a frock rocker convention. I had no idea this culture was still alive-barely. The dudes from Metallica and all these other hair bands were all there...i felt so out of place... i never liked any of that shit music. still dont.

why u ask was i at this wretched hairspray party? well my friend is the photo editor of this magazine, but honestly - it was an open bar. i wanted to get fadded. and i did. i smoked like seventeen packs of smokes and drank like a fish. It was a night in a room where i knew no one and probably would never see them again. i had all these tripped out conversations with such freaky peeps. This one dude in a shiney gold patchwork jacket and cowboy hat (gag) kept cornering me to try to pitch me the most amazing movie in the world that he had in his head...whats up with the rockers wearing make-up? goth kids i get...but the leather pants rockers?

so i left that joint feeling lower than low. i thought the lix would sop up the sorrow, but it didnt work. I cant seem to shake it. I drove around for a while then headed home. I sat down at the computer to try to numb myself out with some mindless surfing and stopped by the boards to check in...i was greated by two very sweet comments by two very sweet ladies. It put tears in my eyes. it doesnt seem to take much to do that this week, but it was very sweet all the same.
