last night. maybe this morning. i was having an insane dream. i was in an aluminum building. it was small and square. my friends mya and maurie and myself were sleeping on cots. i got up to have my morning cigerette. i was surrounded by concrete. it was like a giant runway that never ended. i light my cigerette and get this crazy preminition that something bad is going to happend. i hear a crash then i look up and see a huge mushroom cloud in the distance. i run into the little aluminum shack. i jump on the covers and hide under a blanket. i survive. i was safe. but i couldn't shake that feeling - fear. complete and undeterable fear. it was so real - even if unbelievable. it was as if the seratonin that is released during REM sleep didn't kick in. when i woke up i stilll feared something terrible was going to happen. i can still feel the fear of almost dying along with everyone else.
goodnight

I have a phobia of dying. It's the source of most of my anxieties. I used to not be able to take a five-hour road trip without bracing myself to the dash the whole way and ending up with an ulcer.
