Hey lovelies! So, so, sooo sorry for my insane absence from the sight. My chronic conditions have been flaring like crazy (winter is not your friend when you've got rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia), and it's occasionally making it difficult to function. But you amazing people deserve a more active me, so here's to me stepping back into the game, and definitely getting back onto the site, hopefully daily, like I have been in the past! Over the next couple of days I'm going to be posting all the pictures I've been keeping my instagram profile (sleepstarved_sgh) active with. If you're looking for more of me, that's the place to go!
So, what have I been up to? Well, for starters, WE RESCUED A PUPPY!!! And holy smokes, I forgot how energetic and insane a puppy can be! (it's been about three years since I had a puppy) His name is Padfoot, (my roommate and I are massive Harry Potter nerds), he's a back lab-pit mix, and he's now almost 14 weeks!
My little munchkin at eight weeks. This is the day we picked him up, and the first time he'd ever been outside to see snow!
Ahhh, what a little character he is! He's constantly getting into mischief, especially with our three cats, who want little to nothing to do with him. Haha. Most of my time is spent running around after his trail of shenanigans.
Besides getting a puppy, I'm been working on the long (and unfortunate) process of getting my license. Yes, I'm 23. No, I don't have my license. I actually really hate driving, and my anxiety at other people potentially going batshit crazy, never really gave me much interest in it. But it's become unavoidable, so within the next couple of weeks you'll be looking at a licensed driver. Sarcastic woooo. Lol. Other small notables, are the addition of three new piercings (all in my ears, I have 14 now!), and the dying of my hair! I looove the pink, and I can't believe I was ever nervous to change it!
My main focus has lately been of my yoga practice, and of getting my mind and body into a shape that I feel comfortable shooting my first set in. My house is typically slightly chaotic (four people, two adult cats, a kitten, and a puppy), so at times it can be a bit much. I'm looking forward to shooting my first set in the very near future, and sharing it with you wonderful people! Unfortunately, however, even though I'd prefer to shoot outdoors, it's far too cold for that! I'm not quite sure where I want the location to be at this point, but I want it to be a warm and inviting set.
So much love and appreciation for the support you've already shown, and continue to show me, it's been such an amazing journey! This time last year I had no idea I could love my body the way I do now, or that I would actually feel comfortable with the idea of getting naked in front of strangers. 2014 was chaotic (entirely of my creating), but it showed me who I was, and who I didn't want to be. Looking forward to 2015, and the possibilities of the unknown. So much to look forward to! Hope you'll all join me!
.... Now, here's a mini photo drop of some of what I've been taking! <3 I'll be posting a few other photo drops over the next couple of days, just to make up for my absence lately <3333
