Boy, do I feel lame posting a blog on a Saturday night. My GF is working to night and we're going to meet for a drink after she finishes. Until then, I'm home with the dogs. It's been a productive night. I put together the IKEA table and we bought last week and caught up on some communication.
Work was beyond crazy this week. It was like "Girl Interupted" every day, culminating with a homicidal threat, a restrain, and bringing in the cops. On the bright side, the kid who blew his stack will be getting the help he needs and he won't be back in my class....sigh of relief.
The teachers aide my boss hired without consulting me was a total disaster. At least she learned. I interviewed two people this week - both qualified and potentially good hires. I may even luck out and get to hire both of them. That would be a huge relief and go a long way to helping me keep my sanity this year. I was so pissed at the situation that I actually updated my resume and applied for a few jobs. I would hate to leave on terms like that, but if it comes down to it, you need to lookout for #1.
OK, it's almost time to watch boxing. Hopefully Shane Mosley will take Mayorga to school tonight. Wow. IKEA, dogs, and HBO boxing on a Saturday night. I'm getting old.

Many, but start with Attachment Disorder and PTSD and move on from there. My classroom was not the appropriate placement. This was bound to happen.
