Boy, do I feel lame posting a blog on a Saturday night. My GF is working to night and we're going to meet for a drink after she finishes. Until then, I'm home with the dogs. It's been a productive night. I put together the IKEA table and we bought last week and caught up on some communication.

Work was beyond crazy this week. It...

What kind of problems does that kid have?
_seb_:
Many, but start with Attachment Disorder and PTSD and move on from there. My classroom was not the appropriate placement. This was bound to happen.

I'm back to teaching. I was back for meeting last week and the kids came back yesterday. I think I've almost transitioned back into teacher mode from cook mode. They are such different ways of live, hours, mindset, etc. It's taxing to make the switch.

My kids this year look to be much better. I should be in for a good year. Last year was...

Ok, boys and girls, I'm back from San Francisco and ready to blog about both the city and Outside Lands. I was too jet lagged to write yesterday, and today I was in teacher meeting all day. We also picked up the foster dog, Leo, yesterday. He is a great guy. Overal, my mind is unfocused and my attention span is limited, so rather than...

I'm out tomorrow for Outside Lands, a music festival in San Francisco. I'm really looking forward to it. It will be my first time on the west coast. I'm getting to see Radiohead again, along with a bunch of acts I've been wanting to see for a while (Tom Petty, Beck!!!!, Wilco, Cake, Ben Harper, Regina Spektor, and a lot of bands I've never heard....

OK, I promised a real blog entry, so here it goes. Let's see how much I can rattle off in 10 minutes.

I'm in the middle to my last full week at the restaurant before heading out to San Francisco for Outside Lands (music festival). After that, I return to my other life as a teacher. While I am completely excited about having another vacation,...

Thanks for the support! smile Sometimes I think the child support isn't worth all the trouble but the state is taking care of that for me. Thanks for stopping by.

Ok, I'm done with trying to post tonight. PC's suck ass. I'm trying to post from my gf's laptop in the living room, but I've lost three attempted posts to random windows bullshit. I'll post tomorrow from a computer that works right, i.e. my Mac desktop. Vista sucks ass. Repeat. Vista sucks ass. Long week. Satisfying week. More to say about it tomorrow. Hopefully, Dor...

massive respect to you mate! teaching is one tough cookie. Need more people like you in the world.
sovryn:
I read your blog! wink It's because I saw you on the "SG Newbies" group. Very interesting blog you have here. I understand how your career teaching them could be difficult for you. I dealt with lots of children that way and it WAS difficult, but they are all so innocent and I love them all. They just need a patient and understanding person by their side. Cooking, I LOVE cooking! I cook whenever I get a chance! Even if I can't eat what I am making it doesn't matter to me because I just enjoy it so much! I love cooking for people! My roommate and I plan on opening a restaurant someday! Well I look forward to reading more of your blogs! Much love! Muuaah sweets!!! kiss
