You know, when I was 17, I traveled through Europe/Italy and I was already tweaked on the being an American thing. It's so much worse now. How is Italy? Are they all shaking heads and laughing? It's like America is the catalsyt fo the shitstorm of chaos spiraling into deeper rings of violence.

yesterday i was in trapani to see the "misteri pasquali" [mysteries] and you can see by yourself what happens there from 12am of friday to 12am of saturday:

this ancient statues are rapresentative of the via crucis stops... they are richly decorated with silver and other precious materials... and people [only men!] bring them thru the streets for 24 hs and believe me these statue...
