No pix or videos this post or "blog bling" as I call it.
You ever think,"I'm just burned out on the Beatles. I've heard it so many times, I can't really appreciate it for what it is?" Then you get high and you're like,"Oh yeah. This shit rules. I almost forgot."

Your diet and exercise plan is good, and getting results. I should try to do the same.
Good food does makes a difference.
Yeah, best to keep monkey behavior in mind, but I prefer to relax around friends.
Less stress is important for overall health too.

Not sure if you have them down there, but lots of places have farm co-ops (I think that is what they're called). Basically, it's a membership to a group of local farms, and you get a box of whatever fruits and veggies are currently in season. You have to pick them up on a regular schedule, so you might be able to fit the pickup in your schedule. I'll have to ask my wife what they deal is, and see how you find one.
I'm fine once I get out of the house as well. I've been scheduling times to play with a friend. He also wants to get back in to playing, so it works perfectly.

I say user error.
I had a friend give me $200 dollars he owed me for an old racing pulley off my little drag car. Pretty cool right? ... yeah, extra $200. I had to drive about 30min south to pick it up. I put in $20 in gas & about $10 for lunch. .... after my car broke down, $20 cab home & it's usually about $100 for...

Fuck the second one. If it was a true '70 SS 454, this guy fucked it up. You don't throw a B&M shifter, K&N filter, some gauges where the stereo used to be, a crate motor in, and header, and call it a resto. And you most certainly do not put all the go fast part stickers under the hood. $10 says he took a small block Chevelle, had the body fixed up, swapped in some new parts (including the SS stickers for the bumper), and called it a resto.
Sorry for the rant, but I'm a purist. It's either a restoration to stock or it's a cool hot rod. Hot rods kick ass, but they aren't worth nearly the $$$ of a resto. I'd offer him $5k-$6k and laugh if he stuck at $11k.

Aw man that's one of those stories you should remember to put in your book, sorry bout that but it is kinda funny, like something i would read on FML.Dunno if you should sell your camera gear for the car, just have a huge yard sale and sell all the stuff you've been hoarding then buy the car,the first one is hottest to me but i think i just dig the color more.
I think I will get high lay down and watch the greatest movie ever written by the human hairless aqua ape ape "quest for fire" and remember who I am.....
thanks desmond
Ya know... Let's go ahead and make it a double header.

That's cuz I AM a brawler! Hahaha. Believe it or not I've been in a few drunken bar fights, so a lot of people I know assumed that's where it came from.
so at least I look like a badass, right?
Speaking of pain, I' am loving the look on the wuss' face in your picture. My inner arm didn't hurt half as bad as I thought it would.
Honestly, I DID make that face getting my upper back tattoo'd but I love the hum of the machine and the dragging scratch and beauty too much to quit
and holy shit, tieranny looks completely sexy! Love that hair!

Don't sell the bike, just stop doing stupid shit!
I miss mine. Haven't had one in years. Last one I had was a Specialized Hemi Comp for racing (my real BMX love).
Dude, we used to build gravity bikes in the 80's. Turn a 20" frame upside down, so your belly rested on the bottom bracket, used some low rise bars leaned way forward and footpegs on the back axle. Sooooo much fun. BMX Action back in like '87-'88 was doing all kinds of builds.

Yeah man. I'd started wearing knee braces on my motorcycles because of the beatings my knees were taking from crashing - I'd been wearing race boots with built in ankle braces for years, thanks to BMX crashes. It's not if I end up in a wheel chair, it's when.
Gravity bikes were a bit of a pain in the ass for us, because none of us had cars to get us back to the top of the hills. Plus, I owned on bike at the time, so it was tear it down, make it into a gravity bike, ride for the day, then tear it down again, then rebuild it for that weekend's race. I did have the advantage of working in a bike shop though. May not have had all the trick parts, but my bike was smooth as butter.

Too bad I don't get HBO, I've heard such great things about that show. That clip just whetted my appetite.
Getting back to a previous topic. I have a descent record collection from way back, but my turntable died 20 years ago so I haven't done anything since. I was discussing with June the merits of spending the money on hardware to listen to my old stuff vs. trying to find the music in mp3 form. I'm hardly ever home to listen to vinyl, vut there are many benefits beyond the music itself to collecfing vinyl. She had a solution that was the best of both worlds. A kickass turntable with line out ( not like the cheesy ones in the department stores).
