It's mid-month, so I guess I can do an update on my goals, although it seems a bit depressing...
1. I've been drinking heavily for the past 5 or 6 days, but I can rationalize it. I spent 4 days camping and well, camping sober... not for me. Then there was the My Chemical Romance concert, with Rise Against opening. I was there for about 15 minutes before I said "WHERE'S MY WHISKEY!!!?!!?" And the good people at SOMA were kind enough to rape my ass with Double Jack&Cokes at 14.oo a piece (so I only had four!) But now I'm out of excuses so I'm jumping on the dry wagon!
2. I've shot a set for SG, but I don't think it's destined for approval. There are some great shots there, but after looking at some beautiful REJECTED sets, I think it falls a bit short... I have one ace in the hole though, somehow I've ended up with three patient models, who are kind enough to stick with me while I race through the learning curve. I still have hopes of getting a set approved in March, but I think it may end up being an April approval.
3. My shit is almost ready for the tax lady! Almost, like put some finishing touches on it and we're good to go! (Of course, Cryst did most of the work on this one! I guess I owe her one, or two, or three, or ....)
4. Here's the good news!!! My Ilford Delta 400 is sweetly calibrated!!!! Every roll is it's own orgasm! Detail in the shadows, detail in the highlights, rich fucking prints I tell you what!
