As for my parents, well...we used to walk the same path. lately though we differ so much. He even voted Republican in the last election. This is from a lifelong Democrat. Though I will admit I didn't vote Democrat either. Atleast not President. I went Libertarian for that one.

My dad was Viet Vet and all that, when I was younger he even told me to leave his house once because I refused to join the army. The weird thing is though, when I finally did join the service---7 Years later---He gave me just as much shit.

I love my folks though, and wouldn't trade them. They always encouraged me to have my own mind, even if he didn't agree.

Well ...I want to log a little nintendo before bed so see ya later....

I have to go to court tomorrow. I was supposed to do jury duty back in October, but being as I live here, and all my "official" government-type correspondence gets sent to my parents' house, I didn't get the news of that until sometime in November. Now I have another summons saying that if I don't show up tomorrow at 2pm, they can possibly jail...

It shits me when people just move on in when you're obviously already doing something (ie watching a movie, listening to music, reading) and expect you to put up with their noise.
