i just had the pleasure of eating a pomelo...i hope i spelled that right. it's kinda like a grapefruit without the tanginess. it was pretty yummy. my roommate just took the little sticker off the pomelo and stuck it onto my other sleeping rommate's forehead, so i had to get a pic of it. i just may have to post that pic sometime, if i get a chance.

i just heard from the other room that modest mouse will be playing on conan o brien sometime this week. that is so kickass. you gotta love some modest mouse.

before i went to work today, after i last posted on here, i went outside to have a cigarette, and there was a little baby possum/opossum (however it's spelled) rooting around in the bush by the front "porch". first i find some wood eating bees, then a juvenile opossum. it's like a nature show everytime i pay attention to what's going on outside this house. crazy.

i wanted to take a pic of it, so i ran back into the house to find the camera but i didn't know where it was, so went back outside and i was just staring at it, wondering what to do. i thought it would be kinda funny to catch it in a box and bring it to work, showing up late as hell, kinda like "look what i have! this is why i'm late today!"

then again, most wild animals around here tend to carry rabies, so i thought twice and decided to leave it alone and just go to work. i wasn't late either. fun.

all night, i couldn't stop thinking about that movie "dig"... it was so awesome. it's about the dandy warhols and the brian jonestown massacre, how some filmmaker followed the two bands around for seven years. go buy this movie. or not...
