All right. So today, I woke up pretty early for no apparent reason. I stayed up crazy late last night playing World of Warcraft on Jason's computer "just because", so I'm not sure why I woke up so early, but fuck it, it just happened. I always plug my mp3 player into the stereo when I go to sleep, because... How cool is it to have more than 3000 songs at your fingertips, to go to sleep to? It's pretty ghetto, actually. I took a car stereo tape adapter and sort of smooshed it into the tape deck of my stereo. The cord keeps the tape deck door from closing all the way, so you have to shut it really tight, tight enough to be concerned that you might break the stereo, but... Anyway... I woke up to The Get Up Kids cover of "Beer For Breakfast". WHO they were covering isn't coming to me right now, I forget who the original band/singer was... Paul Westerberg, I think. I could be wrong on that one, but... Beer for breakfast seemed like a good idea at the time, so I cracked open a can of Miller Lite right after waking up. Beer and a morning-time cigarette. For breakfast. Yep. How alcoholic of me, I know. Whatever. It's not an everyday thing. I just wanted to see what it would be like to be buzzing first thing in the morning, sort of like how my ex-roommate would wake and bake all the time. His reasoning was that it's a different kind of high or whatever. I see now, that that's exactly right, only I'm referring to beer instead of weed. I've done the wake and bake thing many, many times, and yeah it IS different, but whatever. Back to the point at hand, assuming that there is a point after all. It's odd, having a beer buzz when you first wake up. When I got to work, we were fucking busy as hell. I looked at the little slip of paper with all the stats and whatnot, numbers and all, that prints out at the end of your shift, and I found that I had had the pleasure of making coffee or whatever it is that Starbucks offers that people may have desired at whatever point in time, for more than 500 people. That's a fucking ridiculous amount of people, for a coffee-shop anyway. Especially for a coffee-shop inside of a bookstore. It was insane today. Crazy. You just don't know. All day I was in an unusually good mood. Customers didn't bother me at all. I was able to stay completely cool and help everyone, and be pretty friendly about it the whole time. Go figure. Maybe it's the beer for breakfast. Maybe it's a psychological thing, because the amount of beer I drank would have surely worn off, even before I started getting ready for work here at the house. Maybe it's the fact that I was really, really, REALLY hopped up on espresso and coffee... Maybe I still am. Probably so. Sugar too. Who knows. All I know is that today was surprisingly, uncharacteristically... Pleasant.

Sorry for typing that all in one big, continuous paragraph, but that's just what I was feeling at the time, and I can't be bothered to go back and break it all down to make it more aesthetically pleasing to "the reader's eye". I can't make it flow better, either. I took a typography class once, and that's the biggest, most important thing you have to keep in mind, that is... How best to make information flow, so as to make it easier for people to be able receive information... But it's not happening today. I'm just going to be shitty and retarded today.

Yep.

Hope everyone is having a good Friday evening/Saturday morning...
