I'm just feeling dumb this evening... I don't know what it is. I haven't even started drinking yet, so I'm sure that's not it. I just can't think of anything much to say, nor can I envision anything even remotely productive to do, so I'm probably going to read a bit and then pass out. Hopefully I'll remember to set that good old alarm clock before I do. In fact, I'm going to set it right now.
I and my friend Stephanie have decided to start up a mix-CD trading ring at work. Why did we decide to do this? I don't know really, it just seemed like it would be fun. Give people a reason to make stuff for other people for no reason whatsoever. If nothing else, it seems like it would be interesting to hear what kind of stuff your coworkers are digging. This is how it works. I put together a CD on the computer (or a mix-tape, for the technologically challenged, or for people who just don't have access to a computer for whatever reason). I give the CD to you. You listen to it. You may like it. You may hate it. Either way, you've just listened to my shit. You make me a mix-CD back. It doesn't really matter what it is that you mix together, there's no theme, or running mood, or whatever. Just pick a bunch of songs you like and slap them together. If you want to be all fancy about it, then cool. Rock on. Do your thing. It's not necessary, though.
That's it.
I'm curious as to what sort of stuff I'll be hearing from the people I work with on a daily basis. This one guy said he's going to make me a mix full of Columbian salsa-type stuff, which, in my opinion, would be fucking outstanding. Stephanie and I kicked it off last night, giving a few people CDs (that we made last night because we're just music nerds like that)...
Here's what you get, if you happen to work with me... And yeah, I'm sure a lot of the people reading this have heard these already, but whatever.

See ya.
