Sigh... Last time I went outside to have a cigarette, which was around 7:30-ish, maybe 8-ish, I don't know... I forgot to make sure the front door was completely shut...
Now the house is fucking cold as shit, because, well... There's no heat. It was damn cold a little while ago, though. Colder than usual. So I walk to the front door, and what do I see? The motherfucking door, just sitting there, wide open.
I looked around to make sure no one came in and stole anything, but the only thing really worth stealing is the computer and DVD player and such, and all that was still there... Which led to my next line of thinking...
Where are the cats?
The black and white cat was still asleep on the computer chair and the black cat was milling about in the hallway. So, for the last half hour or so, I've been outside trying to get the other two cats to come inside. Making silly faces. Crouching down on the ground, acting as if I have something in my hand. Speaking in that voice usually reserved for babies. Shaking my keys to try to get their attention from across the yard, because they run away every time you try to get close to them. Little white kitty and the big grey poofy kitty. If you can get them between you and the house, they run to the door like their lives depended on it. They know what's up. They know they're not supposed to be outside. Finally, they just walk up to me out of nowhere, rubbing against my leg, as I'm smoking a cigarette, looking under bushes and whatnot. Then making the mad dash towards the front door, which is now closed.
Sigh...
I had planned on falling asleep about an hour ago, two hours ago, maybe? I don't even know. I'm completely fucking out of it right now. I was fucking scared to death that I lost my roommates' cats.
Fun in the morningtime, I guess... My friend Dawn IM'd me, and after reading my last post here, she's under the impression that I'm "infatuated" with someone... She apparently doesn't believe me when I say, "I'm not". Hy-po-the-ti-cal response (as far as that particular response was concerned, anyway).
Oh whatever. I'm going to sleep now. I have to be awake at 2. It's going to be fun as hell waking up, I know that much...
Not really.
