Yep, so I'm typing this, once again, from Maia's computer. I can't think of anything much to talk about really. I'm just chatting with my friend CT about Deviantart.com, and how some people, we'll call them "professionals", sometimes care to critique or just-plain-talk-shit on other people's stuff, and it seemed like it'd be interesting to post just some random shit and see if anyone thinks it completely sucks, and feels the need to talk shit. Just to see what they'd say, because there's nothing else to do when you're pretty stoned.
I've been checking out my "bookmarks" and... There seems to be a pretty decent amount of people who are feeling a bit under the weather. It seems odd to me, that so many people (not just talking about people online, here) that I know, are all feeling like complete shit now. Myself included. I figured... Blame it on the weather. Giggle. Forget everything within minutes.
Wouldn't it be crazy though, if the reason everyone is getting sick, is because the American Government is spraying "industrial agents" into the skies above our towns and cities, for research purposes? They've done it before. I'm sure it could happen again. The EPA is in their pockets anyway, it's not as if they're going to step in anytime soon...
I can probably think a bunch of reasons like that, each as untrue and fabricated as the last one.
Work was so, so shitty today. 4-day government holiday. Military town. I work at the Starbucks in a Barnes & Noble, which is pretty much THE place for soldiers and such to chill... To make things even cheerier, one of the espresso machines broke. Yep. What could I do? I could go listen to Peaches on the mp3 player everytime I felt like I was going to snap and break down. Peaches is fucking awesome/hilarious... It takes the edge off when dealing with (most, but not all) fucking idiots...
I'll be staying in some hotel in Richmond, Virginia on Thursday with my mom, because apparently she doesn't feel like driving all the way back home, the same day, and I'm probably going to be unable to drive as the evening carries on... This is like going to a concert with my mom, or something. I'm actually having to pack things. Plan what to bring. For a silly book signing. It's probably just going to be one of those things like they have at my work all the time, when someone writes something, and they set up a little table, and maybe a few people come up and say hi, even fewer actually buying the book... It's cool for the author, becuase I guess that person is getting exposure, no matter how limited it may be... It's just funny to me, though. Going all the way to Richmond (It's not that far, I know, but... For conversation's sake...), getting a hotel room even... Hehe. It's just funny to me. Or maybe it's because I'm stoned. I'm not sure. I can't tell.
I really wish SG would come to NC more often. The SGB show was really, really cool. I dug it immensely. As did the funny old guy who stood next to me the whole time. He was hilarious. I wish he was on here somewhere, so I could say hi, and get to know him better. He seemed like an interesting character. Maybe he is on here somewhere. Who knows.
I think I need another Sprite. Later...
