So today's post is a not so happy post.
A friend of the family passed away this week after being in a coma for about a week. Her name was Janet.
I knew her when I was little, and seen her a few times a few years ago. When I was still into meth. She was a girl I knew's mom. I can't help but feel bitter, and not sympathize very much, because she was a diabetic who refused to give herself her insulin shots, and would rather do meth and smoke pot all day. Really you can't fully blame her, this is a perfect example of how bad addiction can get. She had one of her feet amputated, she was shutting down. Her kidney's were failing, she was on dialysis, so we kinda saw it coming. The rosary was today, and I couldn't bring myself to attend. The funeral is tomorrow, I may go to that, and pay my respects. What really breaks my heart is that her daughter (the one I also knew and saw when I was still using) is in prison right now. They wouldn't even allow her to attend the funeral. Her daughter, who is now 3 I think, was in the custody of Janet and Ernie (her husband). Ernie is a major alcoholic and I really fear for the well being of the baby. It's just such a fucked up situation for all of them.
If that isn't bad enough, a family member of some close friends of mine has been having health issues too. Well, she began vomiting mass amount of blood and had to be rushed to the hospital. She lost so much blood they were getting ready to do transfusions on her. I still don't know if she's stable. I don't want to bug. Seriously, like wtf is this world coming to. It just really makes you think. It's so hard to be happy with all this agony around you. It makes you grateful sure, but how are we, as humans supposed to appreciate life, when there's so many complications? I'm really trying not to think negative right now, but this is just ridiculous. Misty is only like 26 and she's having blood transfusions all random like this? If god loves us so much, why the fuck create cancer? Why the fuck kill innocent children in africa with malaria? Why is there starvation around the world while America battle obesity? Great job Christ.
