for the past week i have been hiding out in my air conditioned room.

it started monday with sweating like a pig coz it's been close to 100 here and we ain't used to that! plus i have no air conditioning in my leather-interior car.

then we went to the beach and got drunk, came home and passed out without a shower.

woke up the next day with ANGRY skin. i think i'm allergic to the beach sand, or there were fleas in the sand , or somethin.

forgot to wash the sheets and woke up waaay worse on tues.
we're talking heat rash/excema/hives combined.
all over.
my face is pretty freaky--my eyes are all puffy and bright red and i can't wear makeup to cover it all.

anyway, so right now i can feel my face burning. and my inside elbows and backs of knees itching.

i don't even want to sit on the computer cause of the heat.
we only have ac in my room.

i have so much to get done that requires coming out of my room, driving around and dealing with the public.

like looking at houses. like getting estimates for fixing my car. like getting a god damned job. like taking advantage of my time off and goin to the beach with my friends.

i started on penicillin last night in case i have some kind of infection.
i normally wouldn't go near antibiotics but since the state of your skin reflects the state of your intestinal flora, i figure it will be good for me to flush myself all out and then put only good stuff in.

it serves me right, doesn't it. the past month till a couple days ago has been cheater's heaven.
i had my first salad in WEEKS yesterday. there's a big clue.
i've been drinking quite a lot for me....meaning every day pretty much.
we've been eating out alot...especially i was having mexican food every day at work...i thought they were using lard and i was ok but noooo i found out it's vegetable oil! 666 the mark of the beast! too much polyunsaturated fats and refined grains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway, we got some awesome stuff for our costumes for nocturnal...at least we're going FOR SURE the hotel has been booked. fuck yah! now i just have to heal up my skin.

rachel and i both are making little fuzzy skirts--we're hoping hot bitches will be rubbing our asses all night--ha.
anyway i'm going as the white rabbit so my skirt will have sparkly white tulle under and a fuzzy soft white top. i just need to get some stockings and a clock. rachel's is a bright fluffy ducky yellow with orange tulle underneath.

we made a bunch of candy too. it was so relaxing chillin in my room with three out of five of my best friends, making bead bracelets with half baked on.

oh shit i need to get some hair dye too--i'm adding pink and then after the rave orange too.

i figure whatever job i get had better be okay with that sort of thing--i'm gonna be in hair school for two years for crying out loud!

my goals for today are to focus on the positive and ignore my skin, and to take good care of my body, and to be as productive as i can.

exciting huh.

this skin thing has really taken the sparkle out of my eye when i wake up every day. it reminds me of when i was pregnant. i feel like my life is on hold and i'm goin stir crazy wanting to get shit done!

everything happens for a reason though, and i am responsible for everything that's happening to me.

edit: i have poison oak or poison ivy.

the good news: it's not contagious after the first 48 hours unless i scratch and spread it that way. also antibiotics clear it up, and i've got penicillin. and i got some homeopathic stuff to take to help my skin too. and it should be gone in a couple days as long as i keep myself clean and clean everything i own. so it will be gone by this weekend for sure.
at least i have an extensive project for the next couple days while avoiding public appearances.
the bad news: i look and feel like a complete freak and can't get anything else i wanted to get done done.
