Got me a jurrb!
It's only 8.50 for the first month. booh. But I get a chance to prove myself. I get a raise after a month and then after two months and then every ninety days.
I really like the guy who hired me. He's the district manager for all of these coffeeshops. He talks like the Van Wilder's assistant, or that guy from the mikey show joke 'You kicked my dog.' It makes me laugh!!!!He's really cool though, he knows how to run a business, and he knows what's going on in his stores.
I hate management that just 'pops in' every once in awhile and tells you everything you're doing wrong--like Whole Foods.
Yah so, it's gonna be a chill ass job. It's a brand new store, brand new staff. I get to be boss and make schedules and such--a huge deal for me because shceduling is easy for me, and most of my past managers have been completely retarded about it.. All we have to do is give good cust.service, keep the place spotless and try to bring in business. Piece of cake!
And I won't have to worry about weekends. I told him no Saturdays at all because of school (a lie--school is only M-F 5pm-10) and with me making the schedule it won't be a prob to get time off to go outta town. YESSSS.
All worth the small paycut for now. I'm so stoked to have a low stress job five minutes from my house!!!!!!!!!
I start today. I'll probly be workin full time next week.
Now Shawn doesn't have to stress on paying for me for long. Well I'm still not paying rent or utilities but at least he won't have to feed me soon, right? haha
