One more item to add to my neverending travel wishlist: I want to go ride Icelandic ponies in the Vermont countryside. This farm looks like so much fun. I'm sure it'd be amazing in the fall. I remember how sore I used to be after the day-long trail rides I used to go on when I was a teenager, but I think the smaller size and smooth gait of Icelandic ponies would make a difference. They're so cute and shaggy!

This weekend I decided to suck it up and shelled out for a gym membership. It's right by my work and is open late, so I can go after work, which is ideal since I'm a night person. I'm just tired of sitting around in my room after work on nights I don't go out, and my neighborhood's not exactly made for walking around for fun. Yay exercise!

Other than that I just worked, slept, read a lot, and watched adult swim and Cleavagefield on Skinemax. I took it easy this weekend because I fucked up my sleep schedule Friday night and I'm saving up for the debauchery that'll take place next weekend. I have to account for the gym membership now, too. Thank goodness for good books! Being poor would be much worse without them.

I'm kind of pining for the crazy Brazilian ex. I know he's bad for me (really bad for me) but the thing I miss the most, oddly enough, is having someone that was so much fun to study with. We'd study for hours together and never got bored (just tired). I even enjoyed helping him with his presentation and realized how little I bother to study since we broke up. I'll research things but I don't take it seriously since I'm not in school. I hope when I am back in school and don't have a life I'll have that much fun studying. Somehow I doubt it.
