So you would think the process of checking if someones username and password were valid while logging into a web site would be a simple one... after all... all you need to do is look up that username in the database and see if the password matches...

Enter object oriented programming in .net and 500 lines of code latter, one stored procedure, one sql server,...

I got to thinking about voting .. and im not sure im all for the idea anymore.. it sounds like a good idea... everyone votes for the best guy... and then he represents our interests... problem is the best guy never runs... and when elected he rarely represents our interests.. this is plainly obvious.. one need only look at the basic demographics of congress to...

Yah, that's pretty much the route I've been thinking. I stopped by the camera shop after work today and was looking at printers. I was pretty much planning on getting the Epson 2200, but I started looking at the R800. They look pretty much the same as far as features and quality. Just from a brief overview it looks like the big difference is image print size.

Now, I would like to have the potential for bigger prints, but realistically, I would probably rarely use that capability, 8X10 is more than likely be the largest image I'll print.

I'm going to look into it further, but other than size, do you know of any other big differences between the two?

Michael Moore on Bush.

When you into turrets lying a number of things can happen for instants your telling so many lies you forget which lie your telling, or which one your supposed to be telling, or who your supposed to be telling it to, or if you have already told this person, or maybe you have told it slightly differently before, and your trying...

Hmm...air mattresses with life-size SGs imprinted on 'em? biggrin

The mattresses would have to come in different sizes though. Shera for folks Cait's size, Mary for folks my size, and MistressMissy (I can't think of a tall SG off the top of my head, so I'll go with a member) for folks Oninotaki's size.

I do believe that would be an excellent item for the Shop. biggrin

if you want to load the photoshoped version into hopefuls for me that would be wonderful call it "break-in" or something cute like that. Drop me a line when you do.

I realized something interesting today. When I am at home I religiously lock my doors. Not only the keyed part but the safety chain (the type they have in hotels) as well, however when I leave the house I rarely bother to lock it.

That's not a bad thing to have to do wink
Hot lights are fine for stuff like that. I have a few but strobes are just more convenient.

I haven't ever converted an umbrella to a studio umbrella although I've jury-rigged all sorts of things. For indoor photos, especially in a room with white ceilings you can put your SB800 on a light stand and put that white diffuser dome on it pointed upward or at 45 degrees. Then put a big piece of white foamcore behind it so that the flash illuminates the subject and the foamcore becomes like a secondary fill light. It's hard to explain but it works wonders.

at this particular time, at my present state of mind the guy im talking to is really amuzing me... he is of course a middle age gay man, which in itself is quite normal for me atat 3 in the morning... though his aproach is much more suttle than most. He is attempting to pass himself off as a photographer who works for all this...

Oh, I took a bunch more photos last Wednesday with my helmet cam. I've been shooting it all manual. I started out OK, but then it got overcast towards the end of the day. I compensated the white balance but forgot to adjust my shutter speed, so they all came out pretty dark.

Damn learning curve!
speedphreak:
Yea, I do the same thing but the lighting on the ground is different than the lighting in the air, PLUS when clouds roll in during the flight up it changes the lighting and the way I have my camera mounted I can't see the display screen when it is mounted or access most of the buttons.

I just need to work through some of these details.
