Hey there sweet thing. 
We didn't dress up for Halloween. We went over to Kim's house and handed out candy there, and ate a fabulous dinner that she cooked. Yum!
I've been so busy lately just working on covering the deck I've really neglected my friends.
But I do want you to know you're always in my thoughts, and I will be trying soon to get back here more regularly.
By the way, my idea of winter training would be being inside huddled under a blanket snuggled up with Karen.
I love you sweetie.

So Lucy continues to shy away from me for now (well not as bad as when I first brought her home) so every half hour or so I just go sit by her cage and pet her for a few minutes saying her name and talking to her. I hope this warms her up to me cause it makes me sad...

Unfortunately, with guinea pigs you never know. Sometimes they warm up to you but I had one as a small child and he would hide under his pebbles 24/7 unless he knew food was coming

Man, looks like Lucy got the special fresh grass treatment and everything. That is one lucky guinea pig. And she couldn't have gone to a better person.
I'm glad to hear you did get another pet. I know you enjoyed Molly so much (the little scamp) and I really hope Lucy will fill you with as much happiness.
So, does this mean once you and PiratePete are living together he has to live in a cage?

One dog sitter to another, just feed em and walk em. That's all they really need. Everything else in between is just filler. (Ok, so shower them with attention and spoil them too if you feel like it). That's what I do. Oh, and enjoy the R & R while it lasts.

You probably can in fact join (some people are able to join the military to serve the US even though they are from other countries, one of the bonuses is of course citizenship, but getting married to Pete will take care of that anyways... Come to think of it, maybe it's my brother who should become a Canadian instead.
