A couple quick thoughts on my family...
I had dinner them last night, helped them clear out leftovers. All through the meal I was reminded of exactly what stage my much younger brother has just hit. He's 12 & entered the critical age where every psuedo-biological, bodypart word catapults him into giggles.

Geekin' it up at home tonight... I set-up my Les Paul back into a slinky set of .10" strings...Ah! It had lived as a impromptu baritone guitar for the past month. Fine as that but at times a but buzzy and bassy.

I received not-so-accurate directions for driving one of my clients back home for Thanksgiving dinner in RI. Holiday traffic delayed us the first hour. Backtracking over 25 highway exits and 3-6 rural routes delayed us the other 1 1/2 hours. 
The only thing keeping me going is the mental image of 14 hours of holiday pay will be.

I'm glad you liked the windows into stariland. I just got a super sweet new camera (5 megapixel!), so I'm hoping to learn some fun new tricks in the art of photography.
Soooooo happy that you enjoy DCD. Doesn't Lisa have the most amazing voice? I recomend the following albums:
A Passage in Time is a good overview of most of DCD's career.

Good atmospheric stuff.
The album that she did with Pieter Bourke is also tops. It is called Duality.
I am just learning about Ingersoll . My sweetest has peaked my curiousity in that department. (I love learning new things, it could go on and on and on.)

All of our snow has already melted away. It was exciting for just one day. The Willamette Valley seldom sees snow, so it was quite a novelty. All the snowboaders are stoked though, because the mountain got tons of snow.
I really hope you get the flat with the widow's walk. That is too cool! Envy . . .

How funny that Night at the Opera is your fave, cause that is the one we saw. It was playing at the uptown indie theater, and we just couldn't resist the allure of the Marx Bros. on the big screen. Much too sweet.
I like your description of snow dustings . . . very nice imagery. It's usually just wet and cold and wet and wet here in Portland, so snow was a nice diversion and interesting treat. I grew up in Wyoming, and I have to admit that I don't miss the months and months of snow one little bit.
