Hooray! Just finished writing my last paper for the semester! Now all I have to do is show up Tuesday for a final, turn in the paper, and I'm done until next semester. Which is awesome considering I'm without a working car now. Fuck it, time to catch up on tv, video games, and hopefully my writing that stayed untouched once school started.

Well fuck... So I'm leaving school today at about 9-9:30, on the freeway, when suddenly my car starts to lose power. I push down the gas, it makes a lot of noise, but does nothing. Presentation on a 15 page paper on Wednesday. Final next Tuesday, final paper due next Friday... I only have two pages written, no intro, and they aren't connected. Thanks! Yeah, I don't have a clue what causes that sort of reaction for me so I usually just don't take anything. I feel a lot better sick without medication rather than having a bad trip on cold meds.

I totally agree on there being no need for 3 Hobbit films, even the cast thought they were only making 2 films:

Martin Freeman was being interviewed in the run up to the British release of The Hobbit and he revealed that they'd made 2 films and were having a big wrap party because they'd thought they were finished. They were told at that party that they were making 3 films, so they'd have to return for more filming.
This was the major thing that pissed me off, because the book's less than 300 pages - clearly not enough material for 3 films, even if they copied the book word for word, They're including bits from The Silmarillion to flesh out the story a bit (hence Galadriel's presence).
Clearly they're trying to tie it in to LOTR as much as possible - this was evident from the intro with old Bilbo talking to Frodo on the morning of Bilbo's EleventyFirst birthday.
I even read that Orlando Bloom was reprising his role from LOTR - WTF? Legolas had nothing to do with the events of The Hobbit - unless they include him in the Battle of Five Armies or something...
