this has been in the works since september but just finalized today: i'm moving to LA next year for work, so i made this year's race a farewell tour.... not a bad way to say so long.

no time for a real update.. Had a great weekend w/ AKA55. Totally vegged all day Sat then had dinner w/ some good friends and got to play w/ my G-dson who is just the cutest little boy in the whole wide world. Also saw The Warriors for the first time - very 70's and very cool.

Went to open house at Natural Gourmet Cookery School last night and loved it!! think I'll start with a few public classes before i jump head-first into chefs training program... My employer is not very forgiving when it comes to time spent out of the office and chef's training would require many early nights...

Hope to learn lots of yummy veg recipes and cooking techniques! biggrin

watched Constantine recently - a little predictable but great nonetheless. Saw Hide and Seek - starts out strong - crappy ending. Dakota Fanning is the creepiest child I've ever seen. I'm not entirely sure that she is human... surreal

Back to work today. My boss decided to come in to the office today and tomorrow as a "good surprise" to everyone (he usually vacations for the month of August). I think he is just checking up on everyone to make sure we're actually working and not wearing jeans (G-d fobid). Sometimes he can be great and sometimes he can be a total Dick mad
