Work kept me an extra hour today. I wasn't happy about that, but I guess it wasn't all that bad.
I miss katfireblade and holierthancow. They're both out of state for the holiday. I hope they're having a good time.
There's only five full days left in the year. I'm trying to just relax tonight. Tomorrow I'll get to work on tying up the...

I hate watching one of my best friend's lives fall completely apart, helpless to do much of anything to make the situation better. katfireblade is getting shafted on both ends by both her roommates and her landlord and now she's going to lose her home. I have to be at work at 4 am tomorrow and was really looking forward to resting this evening but...

"This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes.
"Down there are people who will follow any dragon, worship any god, ignore any iniquity. All out of a kind of humdrum, everyday badness. Not the really high, creative loathesomeness of the great sinners, but a sort of mass-produced darkness of the soul. Sin, you might say, without a trace of originality. They accept evil not because they say *yes*, but because they don't say *no*.""
What's that from?

Last night holierthancow and I went out to Elmyr to do some drinking, but they had closed to have their employee Christmas party. Greatly disappointed, we decided to have some slices and a pitcher at Little Five Pizza, which was pretty good. Then we went to Criminal Records where I picked up a present for Wyspurr.

My wife, Wyspurr, rocks. My kids are the greatest. katfireblade makes a wonderful pillow.
Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys sucked serious donkey dick. How can a movie made this year make the original, shoe-string budget b-horror flick series look well crafted? They showed Curse of the Puppet Master after it, arguably the weakest of the eight Bad Moon Production Puppet Master Movies, and it...

I was having a pleasant little IM chat with geckogirl when she had to go for the phone. In a nice little twist of synchronicity my own phone rang and the caller ID actually showed someone worth answering for. It was Little Kendra, who I haven't heard from since the week after her visit. I was elated. I had seriously started to wonder if my...

This is a little diatribe I wrote in August of last year that I just rediscovered. It just kind of grabbed me and now I want to share it again.
Watching something truly beautiful die slowly, I wonder if it is wrong to feel such awe to have been priveleged enough to have seen it in its prime while clenching my teeth in rage at...

I'm in a bit of a quandary. There's just a couple of months until the fourth anniversary of the Tribe Arcane mailing list. We had a small gathering of the tribe for the third anniversary at Chris' house last year, but this year I don't know what we're going to do to celebrate. It would suck horribly not to do something to mark the...

What goes up...must come down.
Morphine Child
by Savatage
There's a thief on a summer's night
Across an ocean
Who sees another's life fading away
And of this life he writes
Without emotion
Then pushes it from sight
Somewhere faraway
To a distant land
Every tear betrayed
And never makes
And never makes
And never makes
And never makes a stand
Makes a stand...

There's not a whole lot to say this morning. Things are fairly good, a few financial bumps in the road aside. What problems I have are mostly my own faulth through simple carelessness. Naughty me. I hate the holidays. I get so disoriented from about the week of Thanksgiving on into the...

They have people writing news blurbs, why not comic strips.
Even if you let them syndicate it for free it gets your name out there and draws to your website.
At any rate, I agree with stuzzy_tuscadero, I'm sure a little comic section would be a neat addition. For what it's worth, I liked the strip.
May the good list be long and varied, and the bad list short and trivial. Hope you get to enjoy New Year's.
