This is so hard to pick, I feel like I’ve never really been immensely full of joy, like we expect it to be because movies and marketing are telling us how happiness looks like… on the other hand I have so many great memories I treasure a lot, like meeting my baby sister, or hearing her say her first words, or coming back home after...

I chose this one because I love all horror/terror

Usually I go for the scariest movie on the list, there is a reason for that.

I’m not really scared of anything paranormal, I’ve been experiencing stuff for as long as I can remember, so it always was kind of normal to me… anywhere from remembering past lives from a young age to “seeing ghosts”

I used to be religious, and when I was I believed in the "Spiritual Realm" where the supernatural entities  did battle for the souls of humanity. I believed in human souls, I believed in the possibility of miracles, and I believed that people could see demons or angels under certain circumstances depending on the state that their soul was in, and how much they were being attacked or controlled. This quote from the Bible is something that I truly believed. "because our wrestling is not with flesh and blood, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual [forces] of evil in the heavenly places;" Ephesians 6:12 During that time in my life, I did believe in those things, and I did have some experiences that I could not explain that I believed were me seeing the super natural. I had some friends who claimed to have seen demons, and felt their presence, and their stories always gave me goosebumps. I am not longer a believer in such things. What I believe now is that our mind is capable of so many things, and just because it's hard to explain something is no reason to make something up w/o evidence. I'm not one to tell someone I do not believe them, because I absolutely believe they had an experience that caused them to have these memories. I don't know what caused it, but without the ability to evaluate evidence, I have no way to know what it was. I appreciate your story, I have no idea what you saw though. Thanks for sharing!

@elixic 💖 no, thanks you for taking the time to read it! And yes, I can totally understand the empiric viewpoint on it, I also know our minds have ways of coping with traumatic experiences that could explain such phenomena, as well as other conditions that could cause people to see “things”. I guess there’s a bit of magic in believing I’ve seen what I have, like the idea of an alien form or a spirit, I chose to believe that we are more. At the end it’s all humanity has longed for -the possibility to continue to exist, immortality and to not be alone in this universe.

I’m really happy!
had a conversation with a new client who just purchased one of my pieces, just got to him in the mail.

There is nothing as amazing as feeling that your art means something to another being, feeling they appreciate what I do is a whole new level of understanding that I’ve never gotten from anything else 😍 I’m super thankful for it....

Where to start?

When I was 8, I loved reading fantasy books about witches, fairies and magic, that always led me to want to be part of a coven

had a club with my friends and we would cast spells and it was cool when people would call us witches, we would get together to find pictures of ghosts, horror stories and share magic tricks....
