There is an believably unbelievable sense of peace I feel when I'm on Quadra Island. My parents' cabin is located about half an hour driving- both on paved and gravel roads- away from the ferry terminal, and there is sweet, sweet silence when you arrive. see at home i don't mind so much, cause you can pause it and stuff like that or rewind... but in the theatre it just totally pisses me off. I pay to go to movies so that I can enjoy the experience of a good movie on the big screen and then there is some fucker next to me talking to their friend about something trivial and i just want to rip the skin off their face and tell them that i want to pull their spleen out of their body and shove it down their throats and see how they like that!

I saw stars. Honestly. My peripheral vision shimmered with white light and there were moments where I forgot where I was. Those stars.
Why did you see stars? Head trauma? Was this part of the Epic Date? Should we be happy for you or concerned? 
The paper is done and handed in. It's not perfect, but it's printed off and stapled. Once it gets to that point, it feels complete, whether or not it really is. And my Latin quiz was passed with more than a tinge of mediocrity. Ah, well. 'Tis only school.

oh yes, all about Thucydides. Well, a lot about him. The main guy has the Histories, and he keeps excerpting parts of it. Happened all the time in the book, too. It's probably, like, metaphorical or sumthin'.
