my big halloween celebration was theatre bizarre...the actual halloween was spent handing out candy to the lil' ones and taking my cousin's kids out to beg for treats from strangers.

just the other day I was asking my students if they believed in an afterlife or reincarnation. Most of them said yes and many of them told me that they had dreams about being different animals in a past life. I thought that was sort of cool because their parents are all either Jewish or Christian or atheist so it wasn't forced upon them by anyone - it was just really natural.

Hey...sorry I couldn't make it out Saturday. I was moving from one temporary pad to another that day and was pretty much EXHAUSTED come night-time. I probably wouldn't have been much fun....
