It was a very merry.

I was so happy to have some time with the family.

We kept it mellow and fun.

And I kept the excess to acceptable levels.

Had a brilliant time at the Marmont tonight.

A friend works there as a bartender. So, now I'm supremely drunk, sitting at the keyboard. Good times.

In some ways I really love this time of year.

I'm too drunk to type more right now.

I went to two parties tonight.

One was very strange and uncomfortable.

The second was fun, relaxed, festive, and drunken. Many good conversations ensued.

I love the holidays for parties like the second.

I dislike them for parties like the first.
