Your mom sounds like my mom, only yours actually says what she means. Except that one time she told me i'd end up old & alone. That was fun. Anyway, just be true to yourself, i guess. I got a lot of shit for being in LC last weekend & not coming by. They weren't even THERE, of course, but the thought counts or something. I don't know. I think parents are just inherently batshit crazy, for better or worse. I hope it gets better when she actually moves, though. At least in my case, i'm not really worth a lot of long distance fees just to bitch at.
