Hello everyone,

As always, a big thanks to those kind souls who left comments and support on the last blog.

So, I had written out a pretty long blog about how I've been doing, and how depressed I am, but this site decided to spare you that and decided not to post the blog after all. I tried resending it, but it kept failing, and...

Hey there!

As always, a big thanks first of all to those kind enough to leave supportive comments on the last blog, it's appreciated so much.

I see there's a lot of discussion over the merits of the new site. I agree that it's feels more brash and bright, and at the same time it's managed to kill the sense of community that the old...

Hope you figure out what you fancy to study :) You'll find something you enjoy, and that's the whole point, isn't it? :) I'm good at eating baked goods! That's not the same as baking, though, hee! I'm seeing more folks over on Facebook now, it's still a bit quiet here so I find myself elsewhere and out in the big bad real world ;)

I understand the site redesign was made with cell phones in mind (I wasn't able to log in for over 2 weeks and when I complained to tech support, I was asked what kind of phone I was using to access.) This doesn't really lend itself to a mentality of writing long blog or forum posts, I think; which is going to probably have an adverse effect on the nerd culture that the site was originally cultivating.

Hey everyone!!

As always, a big thanks first of all to those kind enough to leave support on my last blog. It really means a lot that you read my writings, though most recently it's been more like whinings...

It's been a few weeks since the last blog, and I see that there have been some big changes while I've been away... This is my...

Hello there SG Land!!

As always, a big thanks to those of you kind enough to leave supportive comments on the last blog. I really appreciate your continued support through this.

It's been a few weeks since my last blog, because I haven't really felt like blogging much lately, and also because my situation hasn't changed yet. You must be getting fed up of hearing...

I'm sure you'll find a solution eventually. Hopefully sooner than later. Hang in there and take care.

Really hope both the antidepressants and the nerve block give you some relief, or someone will finally see that surgery is the only option

Howdy Ho SG Land!

As usual, a big thanks first of all to those kind people to leave supportive comments on the last blog. You have no idea how much your continued support is appreciated, but trust me, it's a lot!!

Not much news since the last blog.

I've been having acupuncture done by the physio department, but it doesn't seem to be doing much...

Not much to tell since the last blog.

Had acupuncture on Wednesday, and told the doctor that it seemed to be making it worse this time. He asked me whether I wanted to...

I do Queen... I want to live forever. Well... at least in the way that was the movie for which that album was the soundtrack. Sans the other guys trying to kill me anyhow.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Wasn't there some story that for Under Pressure, they had David Bowie in one studio, doing his thing and Freddie Mercury in another... and they were pretty much doing the same song without even knowing it? Or something like that...

It's funny, seeing some of those songs reminded me of this:

I'm glad to hear about the acupuncture working out better for you. I hope it actually works in the long run for you as well.

It's funny, I was prescribed Ambien once and I was fucking immune to it. Throughout one night, I burned through a fistful's worth of them (Like nine or ten) and still was wide awake. I then read six months later that THAT was a contributing factor in what killed Heath Ledger. Yea, that led to a real "Oh shiiiiit..." moment.

How's everyone in SG land doing?

First of all, as always, a big thanks to those kind souls who left comments on the last blog, you guys rock! biggrin

Not much new since the last blog...

Still in the same situation pain wise, but acupuncture doesn't seem to be helping this time around. Every time I get acupuncture, then the pain is twice as bad afterwards...

Acupuncture definitely sounds like a waste of time. Hopefully there's a better option to relieve your pain that will present itself soon. Good luck and take care. biggrin

Hey ho, how's everyone doing?

Thanks as always for the support on the last blog, it was done in a rush and I forgot to add some things to it, so what the hell, I thought I'd make a quick blog for today.

Might have been a bit presumptuous in saying that I was doing better pain wise over the past week. I was kinda...

How's everyone doing?

First of all, a big thanks for the birthday wishes on the last blog! biggrin

I had an awesome birthday last Saturday, I got some sweet new t-shirts (a Man of Steel one and a David Bowie one), and we went out for a Chinese meal (my favourite!). We also went to see This Is The End, which was truly hilarious, I can't...

First things first, as always a big thanks to those kind souls who left supportive messages on the last blog, you're all awesome! biggrin

Not much news at all since the last blog, I'm afraid. Pain levels are still the same, and no sign of any relief in the near future.

Had a reasonable week anyway, and even managed to go to the...

How's it goin' SG land?

Thanks to everyone who enjoyed the pics in the last blog, I wasn't sure how well my level of humour would go down here...
Back to the normal blogs this time, though I'll try and lighten the tone.

First, I'll start with what's new since the last blog...

Had my second round of acupuncture, which did absolutely nothing for me....

Man, that sucks about the pain.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

I always found nerve blocking shots or painkillers somewhat funny, as your body hurts because there's a problem.

Man... I could go on and on about the X-Men movies...

I always imagined that if I were to EVER get married in the future, I thought it'd be cool to have As The World Falls Down as like, that first song. Ah... American idealism.

The joke was rather funny as well. Jaja, touche'
