NO MORE PENCILS NO MORE BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY! I don't have to see that god awful architectural abortion of a college campus until January 20th. I kicked butt on both exams, but I know I did better in my composition class than I did on Police Org- but open book/open note finals are the shiznit.
This feeling of being finished would be so much better if...

as an occasional sufferer of those things you wished on the KCB, i hope whatever he's done is bad enough to deserve it blackeyed

when you say B-dorfers are pretty...do you mean looks or sounds? there's a showroom on the east side in the low 30s. you should go try one. it's really really fucking amazing. the prices are in the 6 digits, though. not including cents.

i have a 1977 kawai upright, bought new when i was 6. i love it, but it's starting to be time to get a grownup piano. maybe. i just don't know if i could give this one up, and it seems ridiculous to have 2 pianos in a 1 bedroom apt....

You say: "SG at work kicks butt and doens't hamper my productivity."

I say: Liar! Eh, productivity is overrated.

It's snowing. AGAIN.

Yeah, that snow didn't last long.

Glad you liked my subway piece. I'm putting up a new one tonight, I think. And yes, you're totally right, I left out so many things... maybe I'll do a subway revisited essay at some point in the future. The finer points of urban travel: how to avoid stepping in erstwhile bodily fluids that adorn subway cars, which cars have the creepy automated voices, which lines have the most attractive women, the etiquette of sleeping on the subway... ah, fertile ground. MTA, you are my muse!
er:
thaaaaank you
for that link
i will definitely be filling out that form.

So we are finally out from under most of the snow. Thank goodness. I thought I had lost my all-precious Thunderbird in a snowdrift, but, alas, it was still in the driveway. biggrin

Finals week starts next Monday. FREAKING YIKES! I hate exams. I'll fare well because I've been busting my butt all semester. I've already registered for next semester so I can't fuck up now!...

wow that is a cool fork

I like your laundry instructions. Very helpful. I neglected to mention in my last bit about laundry the usefulness of the microwave in the absence of a dryer. I actually learned that one in France as well.

And yes, I'll be at the holiday party, provided I can learn to successfully navigate the M line (see my current journal entry for more on that.)

Sorry you got stuck in the snow. But how was Bad Santa? I'd really like to see that. In fact, I'm thinking about taking the day off tomorrow and watching it. I have an unemployed friend who's great for that sort of thing. Any movie that has Billy bob Thornton punching a 13 year old boy in the face repeatedly sounds like fun to me...

biggrin I like my job. I'm officially the LEASING MANAGER! YAY! I don't like that someone had to get fired for me to get promoted, but hey, whatever.

*does the happy dance*

Anyway the real reason for this post was to ask you folks (my dear readers...!) if you wanted holiday cards from yours truly. If so, drop me an e-mail at: IrishLibra726@yahoo.com .

...so yeah....

Congrats on the new job! I hate my job, although it's been fine the last week. I want a job where I can actually create something.

Have any fabulous plans for the weekend?

But I still have to wake up tomorrow morning and go to work.

I like cold weather. It's the heat I can't stand. At least when it's cold you can bundle up.

Gosh, IL, you are the like doppelganger of my oldest best friend - down to your car locks freezing & Fortunoff's! Wow! love

So the Ellen is going back to california tomorrow, dammit. I miss her so much since she moved in June. Both of my best friends live out there, and I really don't have anyone else to just throw down with and be myself around, except Michael, and even then it's not the same as it is when you are with my two best girl friends....

So, I went to SGNY's Shacksgiving last night. It was my first SG event *ever*! I went by myself since my dud friends didn't want to go with me and threw me to the lions, ha ha. But honestly, it wasn't bad at all. I was afraid I'd be hazed since I'm a newbie but that didn't happen....I was disappointed to tell you the truth...

Glad to you hear you've had a positive experience with SGNY - I took your advice and signed up for the group, I guess I have to until I'm approved though. Sounds like fun.
