I got a couple of apps that make some of my goals easier. I got Runkeeper Pro (free for this month) to help keep track of my running. I also think I can set it to prompt me for the couch to 5K (but I haven't tried yet). There is an android version. I also got Livestrong to help me count calories (I was doing it manually last year). Unfortunately there is not an android version of that one. Look forward to seeing you guys soon. Sorry I missed you before Christmas. I am also thinking of using Mint.com to track my expenses. But it is supposedly not good for forward looking stuff, just backward looking.
LittleFierceOne and I have been married for two whole years and haven't killed each other or gotten divorced, yet. We are well on our way to being in the minority of marriages that last!

Anyone who spends any time with LittleFierceOne knows he is accomplished, capable, and intelligent. Gender roles are ignorant. We are all human beings and we seek to be happy. Most important is that we are happy and contribute to the happiness of the ones we love. And that is what LittleFierceOne seeks to do: to find his own happiness and contribute to the happiness of his friends and family. Everyone else can go %$(# themselves.
I think I know why people enjoy thinking about the idea of a zombie outbreak. Most of life is a farce of posturing for positions that intimate value without directly holding it (beyond the real values of friendship and family). The zombie apocalypse would force people to show value in action and survival and not through the artificial measures of money, status, fashion, or any other nonsense.

The teaching went VERY well. I am hopeful. The director and other teachers (and the kids) all sounded very positive, and I should hear something by the end of the week. She wants to fill the position quickly so that she can announce the change to parents and give the new teacher time to get used to the classroom and everything.
