One upside of awaking to a moderate fever is that it lends for some very creative blurring between memory and wishful thinking. It feels like a short story is wanting to get out, if I can just get pen to paper or fingers to keys long enough to capture it.

first day of vacation and the sg dvd arrives. so far no one sounds at all like i'd imagined. will be dragging a good friend to the show at the fine line in october. may entice him to join, lure him with the regional music thing. he writes some amazing stuff, but is still in search of a vocalist...
