As far as the dog skate, I started when he was 3 months old ... he had a hard time with it at first and always tried to pull me off of my board versus running with my roll. I started with the leash very long on deserted streets and tried to get him to chase me. Then he started running with me, then finally started to run ahead and pull me. It was a lot of hard work but now it's the fucking best! It's like downhilling everywhere you go!

Hope you're feeling better, get out and skate and sweat that shit out. Hit the park today. Skated vert (even tho I suck at vert). Managed to pull a few 5-0s and alley oop 50-50s ... wimpy shit but that's good for me, especially being out for so long. I was tearing up the 6 1/2 foot tho, that's what I ride mostly. Got my 50-50 reverts back and was pulling melons and indys over the 8ft box.
this weekend looks good. A noon session with the boys on the vert ramp. Then beers at our favorite punk dive bar tonight. Followed Sunday with another vert session at 4:45. I'm set.

totally underrated. the downtown indy footage in wheels of fire was the greatest thing i'd ever seen at the time. i watched it every saturday at work for months.
Another wonderful day of things going about half way as planned. Today it made my job easier instead of harder, so that's a good thing.
