the California job market sucks in general. even down here in perfect San Diego. you could go get a motorcycle though. in california you can take a class thats like 200 bucks and its a couple days and they teach you how to ride a lot of people go having never been on a bike and after that you dont need to do a riding test at the DMV, and then you could get a cheap easy to ride bike. its SoCal so the bad weather days are very few
