I took the long way home this evening, and I was treated to heavenly lights and roar of the Divine. The air was sweet, moist, and with just a tinge of mass. A thick air, something that you could reach out and grab. Something that you could cut out a piece, and take with you for a reminder of joy on a sour day.

I just found out that a good friend of mine died. We had been out of touch for a little while, which had happend before, but never really affected us. I read a newspaper article from about a year ago that he had died suddenly from a bout with pneumonia.
