Usually I love my job, but today work sucked. And it will probably continue to suck for a while. My clients are lying to me, other lawyers are lying to me, the federal government is lying to me...
Fuck.
I mean, it's not even the lying. People always lie. It's that I can't figure out why people are lying. Or what the truth is. Usually...

For the first time ever somebody at work made me feel old today.
I hate interns.
Other than that I am pretty happy at the moment.

How was your Easter, lady?

I love interns. They are all so flirty and friendly. Especially the ones you work with. They remind me of a law student I knew a long, long time ago.

I got a really weird valentines gift. It was a bunch of lottery tickets folded up to look like a dozen roses.
What made it even stranger was that it was from a guy I barely know. I don't think he has ever said more than a dozen words to me the whole time I have known him. And the one guy I would have...

It was supposed to be a pic with a link. I fixed it! Had an extra bracket in code...!

Maybe I'm the first person to ever make that observation. I should get a medal of some sort. Maybe zinc.
This is a repeat post. But it was from a long time ago so most of you won't remember.
Sometimes the only way I seem to be able to express what I feel is to use other people's words.

Some have won a wild delight,
By daring wilder sorrow;
Could I gain thy love to-night,
I'd hazard death to-morrow.

I just spent the last 20 minutes reading up on the history of the book and film of "The Princess Bride." Now I want to read it again.

Thanks
Yea, it's tough to find that one. I'm still looking, you never know when or where it will come from. Feeling better about it for sure now. We exchanged a few messages over the weekend..the only weird thing was hearing her talk about having kids.

Not much going on. Have not been around much. I've been going home (parents) a lot. Between that and work I don't have time for much.

Nothing is ever new with me. But then you already knew that.

Nice view.

I hate it when that happens.
This is one of my favorite poems. I was looking for something to describe how I am feeling lately. This was as close as I could come.

Has something strange been going on with your account that you've noticed? I ask only because sometimes I am unable to see you on my friends list or click on your profile.
Maybe its an SG glitch......oh well, such is life.

OMG. That is a perfect name for you. Why didn't I know you were here?
I know I don't update very often. The truth is I just don't have very much going on. I work a lot. And I am still kind of finishing up some school stuff. Which doesn't leave me time for much else. I am trying to get better at responding to people though.
Today was a beautiful day. I love the city this time of year....

Fall is wonderful, I just wish it didn't cost so much to heat a pool. Probably not much of a concern in minnasota.

Having finally regained internet access after a week without thanks to soem jackass in the village deciding he doesn't want to work and fix things. Oh well, its working now...for a bit at least
Thanks for your comments on my blog, I really do appreciate them
So, what do you do in the Twin Cities? The U of M is one of the schools I'm applying at for grad school next year.

I never seem to be able to keep up with people's journals. Or return comments in a reasonable time. Which is pretty silly as I don't have that many friend's journals to read or get that many comments to return. I think the problem is just that sometimes I get lazy. I think hard all day. When I come here I want to relax and...

Everything gets better once I get to see my mum, that shes alive, happy, sad, tan, smiling, crying, everything. Just to see her. So this weekend was good, soon as we were done crying.
Again, thanks
So youre in law school..?

I thought I had more friends on here than this. I guess that is what happens when you disappear for months.
So I am back in the twin cities again. Pretty happy about it. I like Northfield, but ever since my parents turned my childhood home in to a bed & breakfast I am just not as comfortable there. It's ok for a while. I...

yeah, i left for quite a while, a lot of people on my friends list were migrating / jumping ship, so i followed suit. then was lured back, only for it all to change into its new look a few days later (bugs and all) and it took a lot of getting used to, but i'm glad i rejoined now because it's a good site, and there's nothing quite like it.
anyways, yes, i had a fabulous trip. i moved over to Sweden from the UK almost a year ago now, but it was my first real opportunity to spend any real time in the capital, a city i m now totally in love with. . . alas though, back up to the woodlands of the north i returned - but i'll be back sooner this time, i'm going to make a point of going down there every couple of months. a change of scenery, even for a couple of days here and there, is nothing but a good thing
take it easy
